Raven Wear  Expedition Weight Thermal Underwear

We've been using 4 way stretch fleece for our Expedition Weight Underwear for some time now and our customers love it.  This year we're offering this fleece garment in a "brushed one side version".  This enables other fleece layers to slip on more easily. 

It's also Anti-Microbial so it won't retain body odor like so many synthetic materials out there.  We chose the 13 oz. (most others use a 9 or a 10 oz.) weight fleece because our customers want the maximum heat retention available.

Also, the wicking properties of this fabric are phenomenal.  You not only stay warm but you stay DRY!! Just cool wash - hang dry.

This set makes an ideal outer layer on nicer yet cool days.  The fabric is wind-resistant and has excellent water-repellent properties.

If you choose to add a layer between your thermal underwear and your outer garment, we recommend you avoid moisture retaining textiles such as cotton.  

Instead choose a high quality 100% Polyester fleece garment such as our versatile Thermal Suit to transfer moisture and trap warmth.  Perfect for an outer layer in mild or early season conditions.  The full zip top features an upper left zippered pocket, 2 side zip pockets, elastic drawstring at hem, fleece cuffs or optional elastic cuffs at no charge, full front zip that extends into the collar.  The hoody style features a front kangaroo pocket that has side zippers.  The hood is part the neck seam and the standup collar gives good protection to the front of your neck.  Pants are sweat pant style with 2 side entry pockets, 2 back zippered pockets, elastic waist and drawcord, fly front for the guys, elastic cuffs (optional zippers in legs for $30)
